I decided to help my husband change gears and move from Kaiser into private solo practice. This is the beginning of his new ophthalmologic office. He is a retina-specific specialist who treats age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye changes, retina detachment and more. So we have very specialized equipment and needed many rooms to house it all. I designed the space; selected the furnishings and paint colors; and shopped for most of it. It took months!
