Description:
I recently moved into a 700 sq. ft. finished attic space. I have spent the last two months just getting old furniture removed, cleaning, spackling, painting and adding carpeting. I am creating three seperate zones in the space because it is 370 sq. ft., I painted the commercial tile a cool gray, which was an inexpensive and easy way to update the flooring. I also intend to add more shelving in the storage space to house my television, movies, cds, and extra over flow of kitchen items, and this area will be covered with fabric when not in use. One of the windows is also the fire escape, so I have to figure out a way to address it to recapture the light on that side. I am going to add a backsplash, possibly wallpaper covered with plexi glass, or stainless steel grating to keep with the modern feel I am trying to achieve. I am looking for something that can be used as a mobile island, and new lighting.

What a great job so far. Can you post a before photo? Is this in Hawaii? You are a perfect example of how to work with a small space.
