Our vacation rental in Big White, BC (www.bestofbigwhite.com) is an oasis but a work in progress. It is our first design it yourself project, before getting educated via RSVPStyle, so we are still learning. We worked from an empty shell with nice wood cabinetry, choosing a color palate and style that is brighter, more contemporary and more Asian than the usual "Canadiana" decor that prevails on the mountain. we sent our sports enthusiast son to e-bay for the sports jerseys from local teams. Since the photos were taken, we added pine garlands above the cabinets. We will need to work on accents that add "wow" not clutter.
