Foster Village - Honolulu Hawaii

Description:

This is an owner builder project. We demolished an exiting detached carport that was built in August of 1965 and replaced it with a two story house (3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, powder room, living room and dining room). We personalized it with our own interest and touches from our specialty field - a drywall hanger and a professional soldier.

We started the project on October 2006. It is taking this long to finish because we only have time during the weekend and some weekends are not possible due to our full time job and fulfilling other obligation.

It is possible to built a home for less than 150K.

Wow! You did great. I'm impressed at what you did for less than $150K. I love the details you put into the ceiling. Are you planning on painting a faux artwork? I can't wait to see it.

Beautiful house! I am impressed at the detail. What do you have left to do? Can't wait to see it complete.
