Update History
Water Feature / Dipping Pool / Landscaping (Original Post): October 24, 2007
Description:
We wanted to add a water feature to the front of the house for several reasons. We wanted a pool but that would have taken up too much of the yard, so we thought a dipping pool would be enough to keep us cool and we can add the element of nature with the waterfall. Another key factor was to buffer some of the road noise. It is working like a charm. See the updated photos for the after shots.
Water Feature / Dipping Pool / Landscaping (Update 1): October 24, 2007
Description:
This waterfeature is also a dipping pool. It feels like you are at Manoa falls. The water flows in three separate places and the pool is about 3.5 ft deep. It was constructed with real lava rock. It is specifically designed as a pool with a waterfall feature. It has a step built on the outside for easy access and there are 4 to 5 seats embedded on the sides so you can actually sit down in the pool.

What a great outdoor water feature!. I love what you did. It reminds me of my backyard. It's great to take a dip as well as have the visual relaxing beauty of this waterfall to look at when you are sitting outside with family, friends or that backyard bbq party.
