This is the master bath - which is almost done. I had wanted framed mirrors but it didn't work out that way. We may be adding the frames on after.
Update History
New Home (Original Post): January 14, 2009
We were looking for a home to buy and just move into- but could not find one that we could see ourselves living in. That's when our focus changed to either find land or a tear down property. We ended up finding a tear down, and began our journey of building our own home.
New Home (Update 1): February 02, 2009
This is the outdoor lanai which overlooks the backyard and pool. Does anyone know where I can find good, but affordable outdoor furniture?

For outdoor furniture, did you look to see what Costco or Sam's Club have?

The project looks great. I really love the contemporary light fixture in the kids bathroom. Where did you find it?

Thank you. I got all our lighting from Lighting Elegance. As far the outdoor furniture, I have been looking at Costco and Sam's Club. Thanks for the suggestion!

That's a really nice sized master bath. It's great that you included a vanity area. Great to have a place to put on makeup.

Those are medicine cabinets on the walls. We were always looking for places that we could put additional storage. It's very practical and useful!

I was wondering what the height of you master bath vanity and makeup counter was. We are starting the master bath build out portion of our new home and have a similar layout for the vanity area but wasn't sure what height we wanted to go with. How do you like the height you made it?

I'm 5' - so I was concerned with the heights of our countertops too. I was worried that everything would be too high. The finish heights for our vanity and makeup counter is 31 1/4 and 29 5/8" respectively. I'm very comfortable with it.
