At our Green Energy Outlet Learning Center, community groups can hold educational meetings for free with use of our video screen, microphones and PowerPoint software. Oh—and we also have Hawaii’s first electric vehicle charging station!

To me, living with style means:
Enjoying the challenge of reducing my carbon footprint while still having major fun. When I was younger I enjoyed spending money, now I enjoy saving money by making all my actions more energy-efficient. The great futurist Buckminster Fuller was my hero. He believed that humans could only survive on this planet with constant scientific advancement. He believed that our species can do more and more—with less and less—until ultimately we will be able to do everything with nothing! We are all millionaires, we just don’t know it yet. We just have to harvest all this free energy that surrounds us.

We give back to the community by:
Opening up our Green Learning Center to community groups for free. It’s a great facility in Central Honolulu with a large LCD display, amplified stereo sound and music, plenty of easy parking, and food and drink available. We also donate and double all the money we receive from recycled cans and bottles to local charities serving our homeless population.

I served for several years on the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau. My roofing company, Leakmaster Roofing, was named one of Hawaii Building Magazine’s Top Ten Roofing Companies for several years. I formed and still head the MegaPro Tennis League.
