Description:
This kitchen has come a long way from where it was just a few short months ago, but, I still have not figured out a way to conquer the biggest challenge. Due to the fact that this is an attic space, the pitch of the ceiling is very low in places, one of those is over the stove. The problem is the paint over the stove gets heated and has begun to bubble. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there a heat resistant paint? I was trying to figure out whether to add stainless steel sheeting, which would further establish my modern/industrial space. Help!

The place looks great. I saw the before pictures and you did a wonderful job transforming the area! I really like the sitting area done in black and white with pops of purple. For the stove area... I do believe there is a heat resistant paint but I think the stainless steel sheeting would add to the look of the space. Maybe also try placing a fan on the side of the stove when you are using it so the heat can get blown to the side instead of going directly up.

How is your project going? Did you find a solution to the stove area? This is such an interesting space is it a studio in a larger home?
