Wow, what a great piano. You don't say what your delimma is exactly. Give us some info - do you want more color, tone on tone. What's your style, modern, eclectic, traditional? Help us help you.
My style is a bit eclectic. I have many wood pieces of antique furniture from France that haev been in the family so I want to keep them. I like to mix those pieces with modern upholstered pieces. I like the warmth of the dark wood and the coolness of the beige travertine and cream walls. The problem is that the table and chairs in that spot is all that I can come up with. I think I would like more contemporary upholstered chairs, but I would love to hear other ideas. It just looks a bit boring to me. I know it is hard without seeing the entire space, but any ideas that come to mind would be great. I am tired of seeing the same thing, so do you think I need to change texture? Color? Totally different furniture?
Seeing more photos may help to get more of a perspective of the room. What is this space used for? You call it the music room area. Is it where one playspractices/teaches or is it a space that family and guests gather to hear the music. How are the chairs and table being used in this space? What about a smaller table to give a more intimate sitting arrangement or maybe love seats facing each other for a conversation area ?
I love what I see for a quiet peaceful enviornment. You may want the room to express more excitement or joy. Explore a color wheel and learn what colors do for moods to pick the mood you are looking for that works with the purpose of this space. Have fun with it.
