I have products and patient information and am running out of room to display these items. What can I do to make this space more organized and professional looking?

How about a wall magazine or literature rack? There are nice wood or acrylic ones.

Spruce up the bulletin boards with bright borders and let the bulletin board focus on two items at a time. Use your whiteboard more effectively by allowing a fun drawing theme, or better yet, remove it if it doesn't serve a purpose. You could use that space for wall racks for the other literature hiding the beautiful round table you have. You could also place lots of literature in 3 ring folders with clear sheets so patients can flip though a sample of literature. Then they can take a copy from the racks if they want one. Good Luck!

Thanks for all your great suggestions. I'm going to clean this all up. I'll post my updated pictures and you can let me know what you think.

Wow—that is way too much information! Just like in a home when too much clutter dilutes the beauty of individual pieces, too much office clutter means information can get lost. People won’t look at what you’re trying to provide. First of all, that round table does not seem like the best storage or display solution for this space. You might consider a corner shelving unit with varying heights where you can properly display products and flyers. Second, edit your information. Put out what’s most pertinent and valuable to your patients and file the rest. How about a tray for flyers, or a book of flyers in clear plastic sleeves that patients can leaf through? (Patients could ask the receptionist for copies—this would further reduce clutter.) In this vein, how about editing your bulletin and white boards? Create spaces for tips, business cards, a thought of the day. Your patient information area should and can carry a calming, relaxing and healing theme.

Take a look at the latest photo. What do you think? I decided to get rid of the products table and keep this area uncluttered and clean. I moved the products to the reception area. I closed the white board and plan on using this for patient workshops. I can open up the doors and use white board when needed.

It looks much better--more professional and restful. You could add a low table or double shelf unit under the white board cabinet and display SOME of the products in a neat and organized way. The plant in the corner looks okay but the other one doesn't look too healthy. Also, an attractive dark rattan wastebasket would add texture and style instead of the generic plastic one with the basketball backboard...

Ah... must more tidy and relaxing. I would still consider moving the posters from the window ledge. It looks as if you have no space for them.

Less is best. I know your need to empower your patients through knowledge is one of your strong attributes. You have now a space that lends more for your patients to relax, something else you want for them.

I like how you got rid of the product table. I think less clutter is better when a patient goes into a doctor's office. Maybe a small table for magazines or product info would be good in this room.
