An interesting shape. I knew a person who had one similar to that and she used it in her elegant powder room as a place to put the used linen hand towels when she had many guests over. The counter was always neat and it was a great conversation piece.

Oops, I forgot to put where it's from again... I found it at mecoxgardens.com. It's 17.5 inches tall, not sure about the base size.
