Day 14: It’s a wrap!
Cathy I broke it to Darrell that morning that there was one final tiny work-related thing we had to do aboard ship and we’d be done. A hug and a kiss, and he forgave me.
The three of us met with Scott Peterson, the cruise director, and shared with him about RSVPstyle. He was so fun to talk to! He loves watching HGTV and his wife stages houses back home, so he totally got what we were doing. When we told him we were thinking about having a workshop on board, he was very supportive.
Lissa We talked about which sailing dates were available, and the logistics of where we could hold a design workshop.
Cathy He was a wealth of information, and so full of personality that just like Mimi, we asked if we could put him on film. He said sure, why not? He was on his way to introduce all of the chefs that had worked so hard throughout the cruise, and this was going to be the final grand buffet, so we decided to videotape him right then and there.
What did we say, Lise? From now on it’s all about family. After this, we promised everybody: no more work until we get home!
