RSVPstyle.com is based in Honolulu, a cosmopolitan crossroads of island and urban, East and West. Hawaii’s blend of influences from all over the world is a continuing inspiration for Cathy and her team of experts. RSVPstyle’s ongoing Invitation to Design workshops, featuring Cathy and local professionals, began in Honolulu and are planned for more U.S. cities beginning in 2008.

Established in late 2006, RSVPstyle launched Invitation to Design workshops in 2007. The website’s beta launch followed in July 2007, with online community features added in October 2007. RSVPstyle’s Invitation to Design DVD series and Style Kit—designed as an all-in-one crash course for the beginning design/décor enthusiast, from RSVPstyle Fundamentals of inspiration, color and texture to a step-by-step guide through Your Project to an invaluable section on Style Tips—debuted for sale to members and the public in early 2008.

Co-founders Cathy Lee and Lissa Rodrigues are sisters-in-law and the creative and strategic forces behind RSVPstyle.com. They bring a combined 30-plus years of experience in home design and décor, entrepreneurship and information technology to their dream venture. The principals are supported by an eclectic and opinionated team of specialists in media production and editing, web design, accounting and the home design and decorating industry.
